About Me

I am Allison Devine and have been paper crafting since 2008, when having been unable to find a suitable birthday card for my Mum in the shops decided to make one for her. Her reaction to that card encouraged me to start making cards to send to family and friends.

As a result, I started to receive requests from recipients of my cards to make cards for them to send and I started Alli D Cards.
In June 2011 I enrolled with the Craft Qualification Centre to complete a course in Paper crafting. Elements of this course involved publicising my work and as a result I had some of my designs printed in craft magazines. My tutor suggested that I apply to become a member of design team with a paper crafting company and this lead to my association with Ooh La La Creations a family run business based in France. I supply projects for their blog challenge once a fortnight, provide feedback on any new designs they are planning to launch and supply samples made with the designs for their television launches on Create and Craft TV.

In January 2012 I successfully completed my certificate in paper craft graduating with credit. I then went on to complete My Diploma of Professional Crafting during the same year.

In 2013 I was runner up in the Paper crafter of the year competition organised by the magazine Papercraft Essentials.

In 2014 I was fortunate to be able to take early retirement and dedicate more time to making and selling cards.
